It is with a heavy heart that I write this, but we had to say goodbye to our best friend, our mascot, and the most important member of the team, Teddy. He was an angel, a terror, and everything in between. We were grateful to have so many years and adventures with him, and he was filled with energy - sometimes annoyingly so - to the very end. He'll always be immortalized as the 'voice' of Champ eating crab cakes in episode 2 of the The Cryptid Cases. and we'll never forget him. He was truly the littlest and giantest of monsters. Hug your pets extra close for us.

Hey all. I know it's been quiet for a while, but we're not dead! In short, 2023 was rough on the team for a lot of reasons. There's only 4 of us, so anything that effects one of us impacts us all! We update monthly on patreon, but realized we should have a public post as well. So, for the record, there are 3 full episodes left in this season of the Cryptid Cases. The scope is a lot bigger so they're about 80% recorded. These last few episodes include some of my favorite things I've ever written, and I cannot WAIT to finish and release them! After that, the Cryptid Cases will have 2 more seasons. We planned to tell a complete story from beginning to end, and we will! Not to mention all our other ideas for the future! Seriously, thank you so much for sticking around and supporting us and our content. This year presented challenge after challenge. Jen had family in and out of the hospital, Dan had to move more than once, and there were the usual demands of work and other responsibilities on top of that. Then, in November, Danielle lost her mom, Rose, to a long battle with cancer. This woman was so kind, special, funny, and supportive. We needed some time to work through this loss, and to offer Danielle and her brother support. We also want to be sure we're putting out the quality of content that is up to our standard. While the number of the year doesn't magically reset everything, we're hoping to have a more consistent schedule for you folks. So, we're wishing everyone a Happy New Year, we hope everyone can look forward to a fresh outlook, and a step forward to what comes next.

We pulled the genre options of Romance or Musical, and in a moment of naive excitement, Jen chose musical 🎶 We screen it for the festival tomorrow and then may need to wait a bit to share it publicly.
